The Biodose monitored dosage system (MDS) includes full hardware and 'do it' software suite, securely sealing each tray, which is individually date stamped and contains patient ID, together with drug and dosage details. The software is very easy to use, allowing pharmacists to dispense whilst simultaneously printing Patient Information Charts, Medication Administration Record (MAR) charts, and the pod seals. The patented system uses disposable trays which hold 28 pods which are delivered to the pharmacy ready for the medication to be dispensed and sealed. The Biodose Intelligent Software is simple and intuitive and it enables the pharmacist to produce printed seals, Medication Administration Record (MAR) charts and Patient Information Charts (PIC) with ease. The patented seal is unique and tamper evident; printed and sealed in one sheet, each individual pod is labelled with the patient and drug information and the perforations in the seal allow individual doses to be effortlessly pushed up and out of the tray, ready for the dose to be taken.
